This is a good tour. We enjoyed our guide Malik who gave us good suggestions to Make our experience even better with upgrading to not sit on the floor and have unlimited beverages. Camel ride was 2 mins however it was long enough.

Thrilling sand bashing

Wonderful sand bashing experience. Alam is such a skillful driver and a helpful guide. Took lovely pictures too. Enjoyed the thrilling ride. Sandboarding down the high dune wasn't as scary as it seemed. Food wasn't to our liking though. The shows were entertaining, especially the flame throwers. Overall, a fun evening.

Desert Safari in sand dunes was very thrilling.

Alam desert safari king is king of best service, excellent work,recommended for family tours. He explained the tour package and benefits of the package well in advance, have helped to choose the rides and camp at desert safari, particular of his time on pick and drop

Good desert safari

Overall the experience is very good. Malik was our driver and a very friendly person. He continuously said that he cared about us and wanted to make sure we are happy. The activities are a lot of fun.. however to make sure you are really happy you need to know about the extras, not included in your package. First stop is for rides in the desert. We chose a 2-seat dune buggy rather than the ATV Quad and we had a lot of fun. You will follow a team leader for about 30-45 minutes while driving on dunes. We paid a bit more than AUD 800for this ride.. If you are not prepared to pay this, then there is nothing else you can do but to wait while others do the tour in the desert.
After this, the driver will take you for another 15 min or so dune adventure on the 4x4 vehicle. Also lots of fun.
You will then be taken to a big tent about 30 min away for the meal and shows. The package includes a dining area where you sit on cushions, or you pay about 50AUD extra for dining tables and chairs. They will tell you that the included-option is really packed and you will have to queue for 30 min to grab food and drinks.. I didn't see that happening during our tour but they were only allowed to eat after the first two shows.
We paid the additional fee just for comfort. Food was average. When I looked at the option included in the package I didn't see greater difference other than extra falafel and chicken skewers. The shows were soo nice, particularly the guys dancing with fire. The camel ride is short.. less than 50 matters for pictures. You could pay AUD 10 for slightly longer option, but It is not worth it at all. Just do the option included in the package. They will take a picture for you on your phone, but they can also do with their camera and give you a print out for another AUD 50.

Experience a desert safari while in Dubai, just not this one

I am torn by giving this tour a rating, because my husband and I did truly enjoy our desert safari, as it is a classic must when visiting Dubai. However, there are so many areas for improvement for this tour company. Firstly, the communication was poor and spotty prior to the pick up day. Once the driver arrived, we weren’t told what to expect or any sort of agenda by him. He also stopped twice for personal stops during the tour (once for gas and once at a car shop). We enjoyed a dune buggy ride in the desert (which was an extra fee we were prepared for). After that we were taken off-reading to a desert tourist camp where we had a camel ride and dinner. What we didn’t expect was that although the tour described each of these things as being “included”, they tried to up sell us on each and every activity. You could have a picture on a camel for free, or ride around for extra. You could have the buffet dinner for free, or sit on a couch and be served for extra. You could smoke shisha for free but only one flavor and in a designated area…you get the idea. The people working the camp were pushy and short with us each time we asked a question, a far cry from the hospitality we experienced throughout our trip by most Emirati people. I know there are dozens of these camps aimed at entertaining tourists, so it is what it is. But perhaps the service of a different company would have been more pleasant. In the end, I would recommend anyone tracking to Dubai to experience a desert safari, just not this one.

Alam was an extremely knowledgeable and helpful guide. We enjoyed our safari desert adventure with Alam and would highly recommend him for your desert safarti trip.
The only thing is the organiser should do better with the food.

We paid for dinner upgrade which I was told food will be served unlimited at our table but we had to line up for food. They only served free soft drinks or water and they did brought starters. Other than that, our driver and duner driver were excellent
